Verslag Krekeltornooi 2018 (foto's)
Zaterdagmorgen om 8u. was er al een grote bedrijvigheid in de sporthal De Muylaert in Eksaarde. Door onvoorziene omstandigheden vond het Krekeltornooi plaats in de deelgemeente van Lokeren. Al vlug lagen de wedstrijdmatten op de juiste plaatsen; wij kunnen altijd rekenen op onze sterke mannen van de club. De toog in orde, de broodjes belegd en daarna de pannenkoeken bakken, dat verloopt allemaal als gesmeerd. Rond 9u. kwamen de eerste judoka's aan en om 10u. start de open training die geleid werd door Herwin Van Drom. Al de judoka's doen spontaan mee en vinden dit heel leuk. Ondertussen maakten Ben en Ronald de poules, wat niet zo gemakkelijk is. Maar uiteindelijk valt alles in de juiste plooi en konden de judoka's ingedeeld worden volgens hun capaciteiten. Om 11.30u. lunchtijd en om 13.30u starten de wedstrijden. Van onze Buitenbeentjes namen deel: Anne D' Haeyer, die een 3de plaats, Lucas Matthijs, een tweede plaats, Miko Martin, een derde en Staf Theuns ook een derde plaats behaalden. Rond 16.30u waren de wedstrijden gedaan en kreeg iedereen een medaille. De coachen en natuurlijk de judoka's waren heel tevreden en met een grote glimlach op hun gezicht keerden ze allemaal huiswaarts. Hartelijk dank aan al de medewerkers van JCLokeren-Buitenbeentjes om er weer een fantastische judodag van te maken.
